About Your Instructors

Gini Grossenbacher is award-winning indie author, editor, and educator with expertise in integrated arts education, historical fiction, memoir, and poetry. Founder of San Rafael Writers & Artists and JGKS Press, providing workshops, editing, coaching, and publishing services. Acclaimed for The American Madams Trilogy, Glimpses poetry collection, and forthcoming The Artistic Women Series. Skilled presenter at literary conferences and experienced teacher of writing craft.

Robin Gabbert has multiple poems in state, national, and international poetry anthologies, including the Ekphrastic Review. She is the 2025 winner of the Fran Claggett-Holland Award for her contributions to the poetry community. Her poem Invisible was a finalist in the 2024 San Francisco Writers Conference Contest, and she was long listed for the Frontier Poetry “(Not) In Love”  Tanka Challenge in 2024. Her chapbook of ekphrastic poetry and art— The Clandestine Life of Paintings, in Poems  was published in 2022. Her new, full-length book of poetry, Somehow, I Haven’t Drowned, has just been published (fall 2025)  by Blue Light Press.
